Custom E-mail
A custom email account allows you to have a corporate presence on the Internet without a website. You can receive e-mail just as if you had your own mail server. All mail sent to any address at your domain name (e.g. sales@yourdomain.com) will be delivered to your primary mailbox automatically (some services call this a "master pop" account or "unlimited e-mail addresses"). You also get five additional pop accounts which can be used to provide each of your employees their own mailbox (e.g. bob@yourdomain.com, webmaster@yourdomain.com, etc.. etc..). If your employees already have their own mailboxes on other services (AOL, Prodigy, etc..) there's no need to alter their mail settings - you can forward mail directly to their existing accounts.
Each account also includes ten autoresponders. Autoresponders are like
e-mail robots - whenever they receive a message, they instantly respond with
a preprepared reply. They can be used to distribute frequently requested
information such as pricing, or an entire catalog via e-mail. You can setup
or alter your account settings at any time via the web based control panel.
Included are e-mail administration tools that enable you to add or delete
mailboxes, configure forwards, and change passwords - all instantaneously.
